Her main research interests are design culture and design education. She was awarded a full scholarship by the BRE Trust to study a master's degree in Modern Design Curatorship in the UK in 2011/12. She has published more than ten papers in various academic journals and important academic conferences at home and abroad. She has also published translation work named "Tea and taste, The visual language of Tea " and a monograph "The tea trade betweenChina and Britain in the 18th Century".
